Where Will You Spend Eternity?

In the past couple months, so many people have passed away….gosh, so many. Both personal to our circle and those in the public spotlight.  Is it a shock and sad when someone passes away?  Yes, of course, absolutely it is!  Do we miss them? Yes, certainly we do.  It is painful and it is hard. My immediate thought is - Where they saved? Where. They. Saved? Are they with Jesus?  Had they accepted Jesus as their personal Savior? Did they miss the most important thing of all - Salvation??  Did anyone ever share the gospel with them? Precious people - No one is guaranteed tomorrow - NO ONE!  Not one of us!! There is a 100% guarantee that every single one of us will die!! My time is coming - Your time is coming - Your spouse's time is coming - Your parents time is coming - Your children's time is coming - Your best friends time is coming. Where will you…..where will they, spend eternity? Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.” - John 14:6 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.  Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” - John 11:25 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. - Acts 2:21 Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. - Matthew 24:42 “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16 The dictionary defines eternal as lasting or existing forever; without end or beginning.  Where do you want you and your people to be forever and ever, without end, exist forever?  With Jesus or apart from Jesus? Wake up people - WAKE UP!! If you don’t know you would be with Jesus right now, you better get right!  You could be killed in a car crash today, your spouse could take a horrible fall, your child could choke on their food.  Or - you and/or them could be alive when Jesus returns.  Either way, you better be ready! Share Jesus with your people - make sure that they will be with you in Heaven! Don’t wonder when they are gone - don’t - what a terrible feeling to live with! Keep fighting the fight - Keep sharing Jesus with them - Keep praying for them - NEVER. EVER. EVER. GIVE UP! God’s desire is for all of His children to be with Him in Heaven! Give your life to Jesus, precious one. I will see you in Heaven!
